A new climbing frame and outdoor gym equipment has now been installed at Annscroft Play Area, ready for the school summer holidays.

Paul Carter, the Chair of the parish council said ‘he was very happy with the quality of the new equipment and the efficient installation by Ray Parry Playgrounds’. The equipment was partly funded by a donation of £20,000 from a local resident for parish priorities. The new climbing frame offers children a range of options to develop their agility skills and also provides accessible sensory and imaginative play opportunities. The site has been completed by five pieces of adult gym equipment and a new wheelchair accessible picnic bench. An official ‘opening’ will be arranged later in the summer but it is already open and ready for use.
