Annual Parish Meeting – 2nd April, 6:30pm
A meeting of electors of the parish to discuss any issues of importance. This is NOT a Parish Council meeting and any elector is allowed to speak.
We are delighted to welcome David Morgan who will speak about the development of a Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Longden and call for volunteers to support local projects.
There will also be a report from the Parish Council Chairman and other key groups within the community. There will be an open forum to enable any other issues of importance to be raised on the day.
The meeting will be followed by a short meeting of the Parish Council to deal with essential matters of business before the local council elections take place on 1st May. Details of how to get involved with the council or stand for election can be obtained from the Parish Clerk.
