- Planning
- Planning Applications – To consider the following planning applications and any validated since the publication of the agenda. (N.B. Any new applications will be posted on the parish council website prior to the meeting).

- Planning Decisions – To note the following planning decisions and any validated since the publication of the agenda:
- Local Plan Review – To consider the implications of the Planning Inspectors’ letter to Shropshire Council, including the likely delay of adoption until 2026.
- Neighbourhood Plan – To receive and update and note date of the next steering committee meeting is Monday 10th February 2025 at the Red Lion PH. To note proposed drop-in consultation date of Thursday 27th

- Nature Recovery Strategy
- To receive a report from a resident on the recent Local Nature Recovery Strategy Workshop
- To approve a social media campaign and online survey to raise awareness and identify volunteers to join a working group to develop a Nature Recovery Strategy for the Parish (draft attached)
- Celebration of VE Day– 80th Anniversary – To consider whether the Council wishes to participate in the commemorative activities planned for the summer (See Clerk’s Report)

- Defibrillators
- Longden Defibrillator – Approval given to relocate to Tankerville Arms / village shop
- Longden Common Defibrillator – Awaiting connection to power supply
- Play Areas:
- Annscroft Play Area –
- To receive a progress report for Green Spaces & Active Travel fund application for path (P Carter) and consider how to maximise support and pledges for the project
- No Mow May – To consider a suggestion that a portion of the field is left unmown during May to support biodiversity
- To consider the creation of a wildflower meadow on part of Annscroft field to support nature recovery (see attached report)
- To review the grass cutting contract and consider whether to renew the contract (price increase notified) or seek alternative quotes.
