Extraordinary Meeting of Full Council

You are summoned to attend the extraordinary meeting of the full council on Wednesday 20^th May 2026 at 2:30pm at Longden Village Hall.

1. Apologies – To receive apologies and reasons for absence
2. Declarations of Interest – To receive declarations of interest in matters under consideration on this agenda in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 s32 and The Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012.
3. Public Participation – 15 minutes maximum – To allow members of the public to speak, at the Chairman’s discretion
4. To exclude the Press and Public – In accordance with the Public Bodies, Admissions to meetings Act 1960 to consider a motion to exclude the press and public on the grounds the following item may reveal commercially sensitive information.
5. Annscroft Play Area Development
   • Variations to design of play equipment – To consider quotation for provision of an additional slide and grass matting and exchange of interactive panels and approve additional expenditure
   • Additional work – To consider cost of removing broken picnic bench and replacing with wheelchair friendly recycled plastic bench.
   • Play Area Monthly Inspections – To review decision on monthly inspections for Longden Play Area and consider appointing local contractor to undertake inspections of both sites for £50 per inspection (where chargeable)
6. Date of next meeting – Full Council meeting, Wednesday 3^rd June 2026 at Longden Village Hall
