Finance Committee Meeting
LONGDEN PARISH COUNCIL
Cllrs P Carter, N Evans, R Evans, D Morgan and C Roberts are summoned to attend a meeting of the Finance Committee of Longden Parish Council to be held on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at 1:00pm at Longden Parish Hall. The meeting is to review the Budget recommendations for consideration by Full Council.

- Election of Chairman – To elect a Committee Chairman to serve until the next Annual Council meeting
- Public Participation Session – (15 minutes) An opportunity for members of the public to speak or ask a question on any item on the agenda, at the discretion of the Chairman
- Apologies for absence – To receive apologies of absence for this meeting.
- Declarations of Interest – To receive declarations of interest under consideration on this agenda in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 s32 and The Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012.
- Minutes of Finance Committee Meeting – To approve and sign the minutes of the previous budget meeting, held on 27th November 2024, (which were confirmed as accurate at the Full Council meeting in December 2024).

- 1 To review receipts and payments to date against the 2025 – 2026 budget and note the projected outturn at the end of March 2026

6.2 To note the current reserves position and any committed expenditure.

6.3 To consider the draft 2026 – 2027 budget and agree recommendations to the Parish Council.

6.4 To recommend a Precept sufficient to cover the budget proposed. (Precept was £39,836 in 2025/26. The Tax Base in 2025/26 was 559.74 Band D equivalents or £69.41 / Band D property / annum or £1.33 per property / week
