You are summoned to attend the Full Council meeting on Wednesday 2nd April 2025, to follow the Annual Parish Meeting commencing at 6:30pm at Longden Village Hall. (The Council meeting will start no earlier than 7:30pm)

- Public Participation – 15 minutes maximum – To allow members of the public to speak at the Chairman’s discretion.

- Declarations of Interest – In accordance with the Council Code of Conduct members shall withdraw from any discussion or vote in which they hold a disclosable pecuniary interest and update their interests’ declaration as appropriate.

- Neighbourhood Plan – To receive a summary of the liaison meeting with Shropshire Council and note that the next steering committee meeting will be held on Monday 7th April 2025 at the Red Lion PH.
- BT Phone Box Removal –
- To consider a response to a proposal to remove or seal the telephone box in Longden village.
- To consider whether to adopt the phone box or allow it to be sealed shut if the telephony is removed by BT
- Village Hall Land Registration – To receive a report of the Village Hall working party and consider any recommendations arising from the Annual Parish Meeting.
- Highways Safety – To consider consultation on 20mph school zone (if available)
- Celebration of VE Day– 80th Anniversary – To consider any grant applications or proposals from community groups to celebrate the anniversary

- To approve a donation to top up pledges if required, to achieve the funding target.
- To consider a request that the picnic bench be moved closer to play equipment

- Date of Next Meeting – Annual Meeting of the Parish Council – The first meeting of the newly elected Council will take place within 14 days of Councillors taking office, on either 7th or 14th
- Exclusion of the Press and Public – It is recommended that pursuant to Schedule 12A, of the Local Government Act 1972 and pursuant to the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, that the press and the public be excluded from the discussion of item 15 due to the likely disclosure of confidential information
- Staff Matters – Review of staff hours for completion of Neighbourhood Plan administration
