You are summoned to attend the Full Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 8^th October 2025 from 7:30pm at Longden Village Hall.

2. Declarations of Interest – To receive declarations of interest in matters under consideration on this agenda in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 s32 and The Relevant Authorities (Disclosable Pecuniary Interests) Regulations 2012.
3. Minutes – To approve the draft minutes of the Full Council meeting held on 3^rd September 2025 (Appendix A, attached)

• Neighbourhood Plan – Update
• Footpath Diversion – To note the commencement date of the footpath diversion order for part of Footpath 1B is 21 October 2025 (Documents attached as appendix B)

6. Highways –
   • Longden 20mph Scheme – To receive any update on delayed start
   • Relocation of Longden VAS – To note this work has been programmed to coincide with the 20mph scheme and no contribution has been requested from the parish council.
   • Proposal for convex mirror – Longden – To note an offer from a local resident to pay for a mirror if the parish council, or others provide a mounting post.
   • Remembrance Poppies – To approve the display of poppies for the period up to Remembrance Sunday
7. Streetlight Electrical Contract
   • Shropshire Council Joint Energy Scheme – To consider joining the scheme to benefit from advice and lower unit rates. (Report attached as Appendix C)
   • Unmetered Supply Quotes – To consider quotations for streetlight electricity.
8. Play Areas
   • Annscroft Path – To note proposed start date of 13^th October 2025 and any update.
   • Play area inspections –
   • Tree surveys – To consider quotations (to follow) and appoint a suitably qualified surveyor.
   • Repairs and further development proposals – To consider a suggestion that additional play equipment be provided at Annscroft and if supported, to form a working group to develop proposals.
9. Environmental maintenance –
   • To receive a report on a meeting with Shrewsbury Town Council to review areas where the parish council may consider taking financial responsibility for grass cutting and verge maintenance. To consider costs, (if available).
   • To consider a proposal that the parish council replaces the open litter bins throughout the parish with covered ones. (Preferred design is ‘Derby’ style, as per attached specification. Appendix D. Shropshire Council prefer the bins to remain in their current positions).
10. Local Nature Recovery Strategy
    • Consultation Comments – To consider and approve any suggested amendments to the draft map or strategy. (Members may prefer to make their own suggestions in a personal capacity).
    • Conference Report – To receive a verbal report on the Nature Recovery in Town & Parish Councils Conference held in Ellesmere on 3^rd October (Cllr Morgan & Clerk)
11. Finance
    • Payments for approval (to follow) –

    • Budget monitoring – To receive a report on spending against the approved budget to the end of September. (Appendix E attached)
    • CIL Monitoring Report – To retrospectively approve the CIL report submitted to Shropshire Council for the year 2024-25. (Appendix F, attached)
    • Reserves – To receive an updated Reserves report (Appendix G, attached)
12. Training – To authorise attendance by the Clerk and Councillors at data protection training, (dates attached as Appendix H)

    • West Mercia Police Charter – To review parish policing priorities for Quarter 4 (current priorities, speeding, anti-social behaviour and theft from farms)
